My philosophie: Yoga is a unique way to discover your SELF, a path to balance and harmony

MY PATH

My yoga path began very early as a 15-year-old when an Indian yogi visited the local gymnastics club. I was fascinated by his headstand, handstand and lotus seat. Yoga has not let go of me since then and with a few interruptions yoga has been part of my life ever since. In 2008 my then manager at work convinced me to offer a yoga course for colleagues over lunch. The course turned out so popular that soon a second one followed. In the meantime I have been teaching 4-5 classes per week at the research institute where I am working part-time. To give my teaching a solid foundation and find a new challenge, I completed a 200h-teacher-training (Purna-Yoga) at Byron Yoga Center in Byron Bay, Australia, in 2014. I also attended workshops in hormone yoga (by Dinah Rodruiguez) and menopausal yoga by Anna Röcker. A 50h-Injury clinic with Lois Nesbitt (NY) in 2016 and another 50h Yin-Yoga teacher training in 2017 with Leonnie Lockwood, both in Melbourne, added to a total of 300h in teacher training. It is important for me to enhance and continue my education as a yoga teacher constantly. As Lois Nesbitt put it “The school of life is short, let’s not waste time”.
